Mr. Peters' Classroom

I am very excited to be a part of the Harvey Team and to help your child learn, grow, and achieve their goals! I have been working for the School District of Manatee County since 2013, servicing our Exceptional Students in various roles as an ESE Aide, a Behavior Technician, and now as an ESE Teacher. I believe in fostering each child's individuality with engaging and hands on lessons, bringing our learning to life! I am grateful for the opportunity to support students with various exceptionalities across all grade levels and it is very rewarding getting to be able to make a difference in their lives. 

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Glocester, Rhode Island. After graduating from college in Castleton,Vermont, I continued living there for 16 years until I moved to Florida in 2004. I am happily married to my wonderful wife Gina, who is also a teacher here in Manatee County. I have two amazing children, Gina and Jason, and two amazing step children, Bennett and Viviana! We love being outdoors, going to the beach, taking the wave runner out on the water, going for bike rides, and just relaxing at home together!
